Premier Bank PLC has held town hall meetings in Comilla and Sylhet to accelerate deposit mobilisation and loan recovery under its ‘Deposit and Recovery Month 2026’ campaign.
The meetings were held on Saturday, 25 April, with participation from employees of respective branches and sub-branches, the bank said in a press release.
Premier Bank Managing Director Md Monzur Mofiz attended the Comilla meeting as chief guest, while Deputy Managing Director SM Wali Ul Morshed, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Consumer Banking Mohammad Shamim Murshed, and Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Recovery Mohammad Anwar Hossain attended as special guests.
At the Sylhet meeting, Premier Bank Deputy Managing Director Amalendu Roy attended as chief guest, while Senior Executive Vice President and Head of SME and Agri Banking Asif Khan joined as special guest.
Participants at both meetings committed to strengthening the bank’s financial base and enhancing customer confidence through the campaign.
They emphasised target-based action plans and coordinated efforts to increase deposits and accelerate development initiatives.
