Jamuna Bank PLC led a student banking conference in Naogaon to promote savings habits and financial literacy, with participation from all scheduled banks in the district.

The “Student Banking Conference-2026” was held at Naogaon Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium, the bank said in a press release.

Bangladesh Bank Director of Financial Inclusion Department Md Iqbal Mohasin attended as chief guest, while Additional Director Abeda Rahim and Deputy Director Tania Bhuiyan of the same department joined as special guests.

Jamuna Bank Managing Director and CEO Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed presided over the conference.

Iqbal Mohasin said introducing students to modern banking services and financial management is essential for building a self-reliant Bangladesh.
