The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has appointed Deputy Commissioner (DC) NM Nasiruddin as the new spokesperson for its Media and Public Relations Division.
Before this assignment, Nasiruddin served as the DC of the DMP’s Transport Division. The transfer was made effective through an order signed by Acting DMP Commissioner Md Sarwar on Saturday. NM Nasiruddin hails from Charkatari village in the Manikganj district.
As part of the reshuffle, DC Mohammad Ahaduzzaman Mia has been transferred to the Transport Division, while ADC Md. Waliul Islam of the P&R Division has been posted to the Cyber and Special Crime (North) Division of the Detective Branch (DB).
