Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has urged the people of Bangladesh to embrace the spirit of Eid-ul-Fitr by sharing its joy with everyone, inspired by the lessons of sacrifice, piety, and self-discipline learned during Ramadan.
In a televised address on Friday evening, broadcast by Bangladesh Television (BTV), the Prime Minister said, “Let us be guided by the ideals of Ramadan and share the happiness of Eid with one another.”
He highlighted that Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the conclusion of a month-long period of fasting and spiritual reflection, carries a universal message of unity, compassion, solidarity, and boundless joy for the Muslim community worldwide.
“May the joy of Eid reach every home, every family, and every individual,” he said, extending heartfelt greetings to the people of Bangladesh and conveying sincere Eid wishes to Muslims around the globe.
