Police have arrested another key suspect in the murder case of Dipu Chandra Das in Bhaluka, Mymensingh.
District Detective Branch (DB) police made the arrest as part of their ongoing drive to identify and detain those involved in the killing.
According to police sources, investigators have continued operations since the incident to track down suspects linked to the murder.
Officers identified several individuals by analysing CCTV footage and using information technology.
As part of the drive, DB police arrested Md Sohel Rana, 34, at around 8:05pm on Saturday.
Police detained him in front of the gate of Pioneer Knit Wears (BD) Limited factory in the Jamirdia Dubaliapara area under Bhaluka Police Station.
Sohel Rana is the son of Torab Ali, also known as Torap Ali, of Mahail village under Jhayail union in Gopalpur upazila of Tangail district.

Investigators also accuse him of chanting slogans inside the factory and creating a tense situation.
Police said he allegedly incited others present there to carry out the assault.
Police further said that three suspects arrested earlier in the case mentioned Sohel Rana’s name in their confessional statements given before the court.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) Abdullah Al Mamun said police have so far arrested 26 suspects in the case. Among them, 12 have already given confessional statements before the court.
