The (BMD) has forecast rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, at one or two places across Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions over the next 24 hours starting from 9am on Tuesday.
Day temperatures may fall slightly while night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged across the country, according to the BMD weather bulletin.
The highest temperature recorded on Monday was 33.2 degrees Celsius at Teknaf and Jashore, while the lowest temperature recorded on Tuesday was 16.5 degrees Celsius at Rangamati.
The wind direction and speed in the capital Dhaka was west to southwesterly at 6 to 12 kilometres per hour, while the relative humidity recorded at 6am in Dhaka was 79 percent.
Tuesday’s sunset in Dhaka will be at 6:06 pm while Wednesday’s sunrise will be at 6:12am.
