The ruling BNP will hold a parliamentary party meeting on Wednesday at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad.
The session is set to begin at 11am in the government party’s meeting room, chaired by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. Chief Whip Nurul Islam Moni has urged all BNP MPs to be present.
The 13th national parliamentary election on February 12 delivered a sweeping victory for BNP. Voters turned out in a peaceful and festive atmosphere, exercising a long-awaited franchise.
The meeting is expected to focus on parliamentary strategies and legislative priorities for the party’s new term.
