Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal Chief Coordinator Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas has said that no leader or activist of the organisation will be allowed to engage in unethical activities.
He said organisational action will be taken immediately if any allegation of unethical conduct is found against anyone.
Shimul Biswas made the remarks as the chief guest at a joint meeting of Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal leaders at the party’s central office in Naya Paltan on Saturday.
He said all necessary measures will be taken to ensure smooth travel during the upcoming Eid.
Passenger harassment will not be tolerated and extortion and excessive fare collection in the transport sector will be strictly suppressed, he said.
Shimul Biswas also said recruitment in the country’s industries and factories has remained suspended for a long time.
He said the vacant positions should be filled to create employment opportunities and noted that the current democratic government is committed to ensuring recruitment based on merit.
He said the workers of the country will extend full support to the government formed through free voting after a long movement and struggle.
The meeting also discussed the progress of the ongoing organisational tour aimed at strengthening the Sramik Dal.
Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal President Anwar Hossain presided over the meeting, which was conducted by the organisation’s Publicity and Publications Secretary Manjurul Islam Manjur.
