The Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment on Sunday assured overnight accommodation for passengers whose flights have been cancelled due to the evolving situation in the Middle East.
In a public awareness message, the ministry said the cancellation of several flights amid the prevailing tensions has caused unexpected inconvenience to travellers.
It said authorities have taken necessary steps to arrange overnight stay facilities for affected passengers.
The ministry requested passengers whose flights were cancelled to contact the Expatriate Welfare Desk or the designated lounge to receive assistance and accommodation support.
