Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Fakir Mahbub Anam has instructed Teletalk officials to demonstrate visible progress within a short timeframe.
He made the remarks during a meeting at Teletalk’s Gulshan office in Dhaka on Tuesday.
Addressing the officials, Fakir Mahbub, who also serves as Science and Technology Minister, said Teletalk must deliver improved services during the government’s tenure.
“We want to become a people-friendly government by quickly implementing the prime minister’s promises. We want visible development in Teletalk’s services,” he said.
Rehan Asif Asad, adviser to the ministries, stressed the need for collective effort to fulfill the prime minister’s commitments as soon as possible, adding that the ministry will provide all necessary support.
Discussions at the meeting covered Teletalk’s ongoing service activities, network expansion, digital service development, and improvements in customer service standards.
Posts and Telecommunications Division Secretary Abdun Naser Khan, Teletalk Managing Director Nurul Mabud Chowdhury, and other senior officials were present.
