South Africa are set to play a full international series against Bangladesh this November and December, with the country’s cricket board releasing the complete schedule ahead of the tour. The series will include two Tests, three One-Day Internationals, and three Twenty20 matches.
South Africa are currently in excellent form in the ongoing T20 World Cup, having secured a 76-run win over defending champions India in the Super Eight stage, taking their tournament winning streak to five matches. Following this victory, the South African Cricket Board unveiled the full international schedule for 2026–27.
After the World Cup at home, South Africa will first play a series against Australia, followed by three Tests as part of the ICC World Test Championship. In November, they will travel to Bangladesh for a two-Test series.
The two-Test series will begin in Johannesburg on 15 November with the first Test, followed by the second Test from 23–27 November. This series will count towards the ICC World Test Championship.
After the Tests, a three-match ODI series is scheduled on 1, 4, and 7 December, followed by a three-match T20 series from 10–13 December.
CSA Chief Executive Pholetsi Moseki said the board is eager to host strong teams such as Australia, Bangladesh, and England. “Each ODI series is part of our preparation for the 2027 World Cup. Our main goal is to prepare not just as hosts but also as title contenders,” he said.
