A shadow of concern has fallen over the entertainment industry. Popular television actress Tania Brishty is undergoing treatment in a hospital after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. At the same time, film actress Shahnoor has been diagnosed with a complex condition. Comedian Harun Kissinger has also been admitted to the hospital with a lung infection. News of the three artists’ illnesses has left colleagues and fans deeply worried.
Tania Brishty underwent brain surgery at a private hospital in the capital on Sunday afternoon, February 15. According to doctors, the tumour was removed during a complex operation that lasted around four hours. She is currently under close observation.
Doctors have stated that although the surgery was successful, the next 24 hours are critical. Due to the risk of postoperative complications, she cannot yet be considered completely out of danger. She has been advised to take complete rest and to follow medical instructions strictly. Hospital authorities have also requested that visitors avoid unnecessary crowding and excessive contact within the hospital premises.
The actress was admitted to the hospital on the evening of February 14 ahead of the operation. She shared news of her illness on social media that day. Since then, colleagues and fans have been praying for her recovery.
Meanwhile, Shahnoor, who is currently in the US, has said that a tumour has been detected in her pancreas. Following an MRI scan, doctors recommended immediate surgery. She plans to seek treatment at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
The actress is awaiting a doctor’s appointment. If scheduled soon, she may need to undergo surgery without delay. She has also said that her condition could become more complicated if treatment is postponed. Shahnoor has asked for prayers and support from well-wishers.
At the same time, comedian Harun Kissinger has been admitted to a hospital in Banasree with a lung infection and breathing difficulties caused by pneumonia. According to Rumana Islam Mukti, Executive Council member of the Shilpi Samity and film actress, his condition is now improving.
She has dismissed rumours circulating on social media about his death as completely baseless. She alleged that such misinformation is being spread deliberately to generate online attention, adding that Harun Kissinger, who remains under medical supervision, may be able to return home within a day or two.
