Nasiruddin Patwary, the NCP-nominated candidate for Dhaka-8, has accused BNP candidate Mirza Abbas of vote rigging. He claims that supporters of Mirza Abbas are engaging in vote theft at the Khilgaon Railway Colony High School polling centre.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, the 11-party alliance candidate made the allegation, stating, “Vote rigging is taking place through Mirza Abbas’s terrorist group. The presiding officer is directly supporting the BNP.”

Patwary also claimed that after NCP members entered the polling centre, BNP activists attacked them in the presence of the authorities.
Strongly condemning the incident, Patwary has demanded an immediate and thorough investigation, urging the relevant authorities to ensure voter safety and conduct a fair inquiry.
