Manchester City moved closer to the top of the table with a strong 3-0 win over Fulham on Wednesday.
City scored three goals in the first 15 minutes. They took full control of the match early and never looked back. The win keeps them close to Arsenal in the title race.
Antoine Semenyo scored again since his move from Bournemouth last month. He then set up Nico O’Reilly for the second goal.

Erling Haaland added the third goal. It was his first league goal from open play in almost two months. Pep Guardiola later rested him in the second half.
Arsenal can go six points clear again if they beat Brentford on Thursday. Still, the pressure is growing on the Gunners as they chase their first league title in 22 years.
Liverpool earned an important 1-0 win away at Sunderland. It was Sunderland’s first home defeat of the season.
Virgil van Dijk scored with a header from a Mohamed Salah corner early in the second half. It was only Liverpool’s second league win of 2026.
“If you generate so many chances you should score more than one goal,” said Slot. “But today this was enough because we defended very, very well in all phases of the game.”
Before the match, Arne Slot admitted his job could be in danger if Liverpool fail to reach the Champions League. A top five finish should be enough this season because English clubs have done well in Europe.

Burnley ended a 16 match winless run with a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace.
Jorgen Strand Larsen scored twice in his first home game at Selhurst Park since joining from Wolverhampton Wanderers. But Burnley fought back. Hannibal Mejbri and Jaidon Anthony scored before Jefferson Lerma’s own goal sealed the comeback.
Nottingham Forest drew 0-0 with Wolverhampton Wanderers. They are now only three points above the relegation zone.
The BBC reported that Sean Dyche’s job is under serious threat. Forest had already sacked Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecoglou earlier this season.
