The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has seized 12 petrol bombs and 15 cocktails in Rajshahi.
RAB-5 issued a press release on Wednesday, confirming the recovery. The bombs were seized during an operation on Tuesday night, around 11:45 pm, in the Chandrima Thana area of the city.
RAB reported that 12 petrol bombs and 15 live cocktails were recovered during the operation. The seized items were handed over to the Chandrima Thana for legal action.
The release further indicated that the petrol bombs and cocktails were likely stockpiled to disrupt the 13th National Parliamentary Election and referendum or to assert dominance in certain areas. RAB-5 continues to actively work on identifying and arresting those involved in the incident.
