The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) extended its upward trajectory for the fourth consecutive week, driven by optimism surrounding the post-election market outlook.

The shortened week, which ended on Tuesday ahead of the two-day election holiday, saw buoyant trading as investors accumulated stocks they perceived to be lucrative.

While the market opened modestly in the first session, driven by profit-taking from the previous week’s gains, buying interest picked up momentum in the final two sessions.
