RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited has resumed production from Tiles Production Line-3, while machinery at Production Line-2 remains under maintenance, the company said in a disclosure to the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Thursday.
The company said the resumption follows its earlier disclosure on 26 July, when it informed the DSE that machinery at Tiles Production Lines 3 and 4 would remain under maintenance from 23 July to around 22 August.
During that period, Production Lines 1 and 2 were scheduled to continue operations.
RAK Ceramics said Production Line-3 has now resumed operations, while maintenance work on Production Line-2 began on 24 August.
The company operates four production lines at its Tiles Plant. Production Lines 1 and 3 will continue manufacturing during the ongoing maintenance period, it said.
RAK Ceramics said it will inform the stock exchange once Production Line-2 resumes operations after completion of the maintenance work.
Shares of RAK Ceramics, with a face value of Tk10, closed 1.94 per cent lower at Tk30.30 on the DSE on Thursday.
