Joint forces recovered 12 cocktails during a raid in Harinakundu upazila of Jhenaidah in the early hours of Saturday.
Acting on a tip-off, a team conducted the operation at Mandaltola village under Raghunathpur union around 1am.
Major Monowar, in-charge of Harinakundu Army Camp, said the explosives were found hidden inside a pile of straw next to a house.
The cocktails were subsequently handed over to police.
Asit Kumar Roy, inspector (investigation) of Harinakundu Police Station, confirmed the matter. He said legal proceedings are currently underway regarding the recovery.
