A total of 118 officers from the 20th batch of the BCS (Admin) Cadre, serving as Joint Secretaries, have been promoted to the rank of Additional Secretary.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification announcing the promotions on Tuesday. According to the notice, if any of the promoted officers’ current workplace or office has already changed, they must submit their joining letter mentioning the name and address of their present office.
The notification also stated that if any negative or adverse information about an officer emerges later, the authorities reserve the right to amend or cancel the decision.
According to sources at the Ministry of Public Administration, many competent and skilled officers from the 20th batch were excluded from the promotion list.
