Home Affairs Adviser Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury exchanged Eid greetings on Saturday with members of various law enforcement agencies.
The Adviser visited several security installations in the capital to personally greet personnel and inaugurate special Eid gatherings.
The Adviser began his visit at the Rajarbagh Police Lines, where he exchanged greetings with police officers and inaugurated a festive Eid lunch organized for the force.
Following this, he paid visits to the headquarters of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party, Fire Service and Civil Defence Department, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), the Public Order Management (POM) unit in Mirpur, and the Bangladesh Coast Guard.
At each stop, Adviser Chowdhury engaged with officers and personnel, inquired about their well-being, and formally inaugurated Eid meals arranged for the respective forces. He concluded the day’s programme by joining the Eid luncheon hosted by the Bangladesh Coast Guard.
Throughout the visits, the Adviser was accompanied by Md. Khoda Bakhsh Chowdhury, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser for Home Affairs, along with senior officials from the respective agencies.
