The government has officially published the gazette for the July National Charter (Constitutional Reform) Implementation Order, 2025.
On Thursday (13 November), the Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs released the official notice.
Earlier in the day, Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus addressed the nation, announcing that the government had approved the implementation order for the July National Charter.
A meeting of the Adviser Council, chaired by Yunus at his Tejgaon office in Dhaka, discussed the procedures for implementing the charter.
On 28 October, the National Consensus Commission submitted two alternative recommendations to the interim government on how to implement the July Charter. The charter had previously been signed on 17 October by 24 political parties, including BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami, during a ceremony at the South Plaza of the National Parliament.
Later, the vice chairman of the National Consensus Commission and Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus also signed the charter.
