Law Adviser Asif Nazrul refrained from commenting on questions regarding the upcoming national parliamentary election during his visit to the Rajshahi Women’s Technical Training Centre (TTC) on Saturday.
Responding to reporters, he said, “I have not come here to talk about the election. I am here to visit the TTC. Tomorrow, I will go to the Legal Office and the court. I am here for these two purposes. We can talk later.”
Earlier, around 10:15 am, the adviser toured the training activities at the centre and interacted with the trainees.
Speaking about the role of TTCs, Asif Nazrul, who also serves as adviser to the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment, said that technical training centres operate under the ministry. There are over a hundred TTCs across the country, playing a crucial role in both domestic and overseas employment. The Women’s TTC in Rajshahi is one of the most important centres in the nation.
Rajshahi Deputy Commissioner Afia Akter and senior officials of the Technical Training Centre accompanied the adviser during the visit.
