The BNP has finalised its candidate list for 13 constituencies in the capital Dhaka for the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election.
At a press conference held at the Chairperson’s office in Gulshan on Monday afternoon, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the list of single candidates for 237 constituencies across the country, including Dhaka.
The candidates for the 20 parliamentary seats in Dhaka are: Dhaka-1 (Dohar-Nawabganj): Khandaker Abu Ashfaq, Dhaka-2 (Keraniganj): Amanullah Aman, Dhaka-3 (Keraniganj-Jinjira): Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Dhaka-4 (Jatrabari): Tanveer Ahmed Robin, Dhaka-5 (Demra): Nabiullah Nabi, Dhaka-6 (Kotwali-Sutrapur): Ishraque Hossain, Dhaka-8 (Motijheel-Shahjahanpur-Ramna): Mirza Abbas, Dhaka-11 (Badda): MA Quayum, Dhaka-12 (Tejgaon): Saiful Alam Nirob, Dhaka-14 (Mirpur): Sanjida Islam Tuli, Dhaka-15 (Kafrul): Shafiqul Islam Milton, Dhaka-16 (Pallabi): Aminul Haque, and Dhaka-19 (Savar): Dewan Salahuddin Babu.
