The Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) has published the results of the written examination for the recruitment of assistant teachers in government primary schools, with 69,265 candidates declared successful across 61 districts.
The results were announced at 7:30pm on Wednesday.
The written examinations were held on 9 January in 61 districts, excluding the three hill districts. Candidates who cleared the written test will now be eligible to sit for the oral examination, according to the DPE.
The results are available on the websites of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education (https://mopme.gov.bd) and the Directorate of Primary Education (https://dpe.gov.bd).
The DPE clarified that the results are provisional and do not guarantee appointment to any vacant posts.
Authorities retain the right to correct errors, discrepancies or printing mistakes, and to cancel results if any candidate is found to have provided false information or concealed facts.
Final selection will be made in accordance with the Primary School Teacher Recruitment Rules, 2025, based on combined scores from the written and oral examinations.
Details regarding the venue, date and time of the oral tests will be published on the websites and notice boards of the respective district primary education offices.
Candidates can check their roll numbers for the oral examination on the ministry and DPE websites.
