Four members of a family were injured in a “gas explosion” at a house in Narayanganj’s Fatullah early Monday.

The incident took place around 6:30am near Shibu Market in Kutubpur Rakhibazar area. Initial reports suggest the blast may have been caused by accumulated gas from a line leakage.

The victims are Abdul Kader, 50, and his three sons — Mehedi, 17, and twin brothers Sakib, 16, and Rakib, 16. All were rescued in critical condition and admitted to Dhaka’s National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
