Four more children died with measles-like symptoms in the 24 hours to 8am on Sunday, taking the combined number of confirmed and suspected measles-related deaths in Bangladesh to 788.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said all four latest fatalities were classified as suspected measles deaths.
With the new deaths, the number of suspected measles fatalities rose to 693, while the number of laboratory-confirmed deaths remained unchanged at 95.
During the same 24-hour period, 938 new suspected measles cases were reported, raising the nationwide total to 117,648.
The country also recorded 113 new laboratory-confirmed cases, taking the total number of confirmed infections to 14,431.
Since 15 March, a total of 100,137 patients with suspected measles have been admitted to hospitals across the country, of whom 96,521 have recovered, according to DGHS data.
