Three more accused have been sent to jail in connection with two cases filed over the terrorist attack, looting and arson at the offices of the newspapers Prothom Alo and The Daily Star.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sarah Farzana Haque passed the order on Wednesday.
Of those sent to jail, two are accused in the Prothom Alo case and one in the The Daily Star case.
With this, a total of 29 accused have been sent to jail in two separate cases involving the two newspapers.
The accused sent to jail are Jakir Hossain Shanto (29), Niaz Mahmud Farhan (21) and Azmir Hossain Akash (27).
On Wednesday evening, investigation officers produced the accused before the court and sought orders to keep them in jail.
At the same time, bail petitions were filed on behalf of two accused in the Prothom Alo case.
The court rejected the bail pleas and ordered that all three accused be sent to jail.
Following the attack, vandalism, looting and arson at the Prothom Alo office, a case was filed at Tejgaon Police Station on Sunday, naming 400 to 500 unidentified people as accused under the Anti-Terrorism Act, the Special Powers Act and the Cyber Security Act.
On Tuesday, Md Zakir Hossain Shanto was arrested from the Bailey Road area under Ramna Police Station, while Md Swapan Mondal was arrested from the Abdullahpur intersection area under Tongi Police Station in Gazipur district around midnight on Wednesday by the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit of the police.
Earlier, at around 1:30am on Tuesday, a team from the DB Cyber North Division conducted an operation in the Borhanuddin Police Station area of Bhola district and arrested Niaz Mahmud Farhan.
Police said the arrested individuals have been produced before the court.
The total number of arrests so far in connection with the attacks on the Prothom Alo and The Daily Star offices now stands at 31.
