Two persons were killed when a motorcycle hit a road divider on the Dhaka–Mawa Expressway in Srinagar’s Keotkhali area on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Arif, 40, of Mugda in Dhaka, and Mamun, 45, a resident of Faridpur.
The accident occurred around 11:30am when the motorcycle carrying Arif and Mamun crashed into the divider, leaving both dead on the spot.
Srinagar Fire Service Station Officer Dewan Azad said that upon receiving news of the accident, a team rushed to the scene and recovered the bodies.
The bodies were kept at Hasara Highway Police Station for legal procedures.
