Popular television actress Tania Brishty has shared a reassuring update on her health, months after being diagnosed with a brain tumour and undergoing multiple surgeries.
The actress, who has remained away from acting and shooting since her diagnosis in February, extended Eid-ul-Azha greetings to her fans through a Facebook post on Thursday and revealed that she is now feeling much better.
“By the grace of Allah and with all your prayers, I am doing much better now, Alhamdulillah,” she wrote. “Thank you all for keeping me in your prayers and for showering me with so much love.”
Brishty also expressed her strong desire to return to work and face the camera again once she recovers fully.
“I definitely want to return for all of you and I will return for you, Insha Allah,” she wrote, addressing her fans and well-wishers.
The actress concluded her message by seeking continued prayers from everyone and announced that she plans to go live on Facebook during Eid to interact with her followers.
Although illness has kept her away from shooting for several months, viewers will still see Brishty in a number of new television dramas airing this Eid. The projects were completed before she was hospitalised for treatment.
Earlier this year, Brishty was diagnosed with a brain tumour. She underwent her first surgery in Dhaka in February. As her condition became more complicated, she was later taken to Chennai for advanced treatment, where she successfully underwent a second surgery.
Last month, the actress informed fans that she was preparing for a third operation as part of her ongoing treatment journey.
Her latest update has brought relief to many fans, who have been closely following her recovery and eagerly awaiting her return to the screen.
