The BRAC Bank Aporajeyo Alo Women’s Hockey Tournament 2025, organised by the Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) with support from BRAC Bank, continued its second match day on Monday, 3 November across Rajshahi and Mymensingh venues.
In Rajshahi, Thakurgaon District defeated Rajshahi District 2–0 in the first match, while Rangpur District secured another 2–0 win over Dinajpur District in the day’s second fixture. Both sides displayed solid defensive organisation and clinical finishing to claim early control in their group.
At the Mymensingh venue, Narayanganj District produced the most dominant performance of the day, crushing the hosts Mymensingh District 8–0 in a one-sided encounter. In the following match, Kishoreganj District sealed a convincing 3–0 victory against Netrokona District, maintaining the day’s trend of clean-sheet wins.
The Aporajeyo Alo Women’s Hockey Tournament aims to promote women’s participation in hockey and strengthen grassroots competition across Bangladesh, with 18 district teams competing across four zones, which are Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Jashore, and Cumilla.
