Technology brand Vivo has introduced its latest smartphone, the Vivo Y500, in the Bangladesh market, focusing on delivering a seamless and reliable multitasking experience for modern users.
The device is designed to provide a smooth everyday performance, from switching between applications and browsing social media to streaming content and maintaining productivity.
At the heart of this experience is OriginOS 6, Vivo’s latest operating system, which is engineered to make everyday interactions more natural and responsive. The OS facilitates fluid scrolling and smooth app transitions, allowing users to move effortlessly between tasks.
It also includes a suite of productivity features such as Private Space, Vivo Office Kit, Free Transfer, Screen Mirroring, Task Handoff, and Notes Sync.
For entertainment, the Vivo Y500 features a 6.83-inch 1.5K Infinity AMOLED Display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This combination ensures sharp visuals and smoother motion for a more immersive viewing experience during daily tasks and media consumption.
Supporting these features is a massive 8,100mAh BlueVolt Battery, which provides extended power for communication and entertainment, reducing the need for frequent charging interruptions.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 6nm Ultra-Smooth Processor that has achieved an AnTuTu score of 680,000.
Based on Vivo laboratory testing, this chipset offers a significant performance boost over the Snapdragon 685 used in the Vivo Y400 and Vivo V60 Lite, delivering 30 per cent better overall performance, 28 per cent higher CPU performance, and 44 per cent stronger GPU performance.
Furthermore, the Vivo Y500 has earned a 50-Month Long-Term Smoothness Certification, indicating its ability to maintain stable performance over an extended period.
The Vivo Y500 is now available across Bangladesh, priced at BDT 36,999 for the 128GB variant and BDT 43,999 for the 256GB variant.
As part of a first-sale campaign, customers can choose between a smartwatch or up to nine months of 0 per cent EMI. The purchase also includes an 18-month warranty, Silver Membership, and a special data bundle, subject to terms and conditions.
As a design-driven technology company, Vivo continues to expand its global footprint, supported by a network of R&D centres in cities such as Shenzhen, Dongguan, Nanjing, Beijing, Hangzhou, Shanghai, and Xi’an.
With an annual production capacity of nearly 200 million smartphones, the brand’s sales network now spans more than 60 countries and regions, serving over 400 million users worldwide.
