The Universal Pension Scheme will temporarily halt all services for maintenance, with no online transactions from July 24 to July 27.
In a notice issued on Thursday, the pension authority announced that all services, including monthly contributions, will remain closed for four days due to an essential maintenance programme aimed at enhancing the system’s performance and security.
Online services for the pension system will be suspended from 9pm on July 24 until 8am on July 27.
During this downtime, pension holders whose monthly contribution period expires will be exempt from penalties. Contributions can still be made without any additional charges once the services resume.
The temporary closure is part of ongoing efforts to improve the overall functionality and security of the universal pension system, ensuring a smoother experience for users moving forward.
