A new horizon has emerged in Bangladesh’s entertainment and tourism sectors with the launch of “Cholo Ghure Ashi” and its talent hunt platform “Face of Tomorrow”.
The initiative, unveiled on Sunday at Lakeshore Heights in Gulshan, Dhaka, marks the country’s first travel story‑based cinematic franchise.
Organised by Marketers 360 Degree, the project combines a nationwide talent search with film production. The Face of Tomorrow programme will groom aspiring actors through a 20‑day bootcamp, focusing on acting and camera performance.
Selected talents will then star in 10 short films, each 20 minutes long, shot at relatively unexplored locations across Bangladesh.

From more than 600 real‑life travel stories collected, 10 have been chosen for adaptation by acclaimed directors including Kochi Khandakar, Mahamuda Sultana Rima, Zahid Preetam, Preeti Dutta, Alok Hasan, Maidul Rakib, Shraboni Ferdous, Muhammad Miftah Anan, Iftekhar Ifti, and Rizwanul Islam Sanjid.
CEO Soud Zubair said the programme aims to nurture new talent while showcasing Bangladesh’s hidden destinations. Mentors Animesh Aich, Naznin Hasan Chumki, and Richi Solaiman will guide participants, with the main cast selected through the platform.
The organisers announced September 2026 will be celebrated as “Tourism Month,” with the 10 films premiering on Nagorik TV and the Cholo Ghure Ashi YouTube channel on 27 September, coinciding with World Tourism Day.
Backed by Time for Travel, the initiative is positioned as a long‑term cinematic platform to promote sustainable tourism, community engagement, and local employment. Registration for Face of Tomorrow is open until 31 May at www.faceoftomorrow.show.
