While all other tourist destinations in Bandarban have reopened, the Debotakhum spot in Rowangchhari upazila will remain closed until 20 July.
The local administration issued a notice on Wednesday night.
According to the notice signed by Rowangchhari Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Tazmin Alam Tuli, recent torrential rains caused significant damage to the infrastructure at Debotakhum.
The Upazila Security Assessment Committee said that travel to the site is currently unsafe without necessary repairs.
The closure, effective from 16 July to 20 July, aims to ensure the safety of tourists and public.
