As urban growth accelerates and property prices rise across Bangladesh, the real estate sector is undergoing a digital transformation. One of the most notable new players in the market is Manshir, a property marketplace that aims to revolutionize property transactions in the country.
Launched in early 2025, Manshir offers a refreshing approach to real estate transactions—eliminating brokers and commission fees by connecting buyers, renters, agents, and property owners directly, read a press release.
The platform, available at manshir.com, exclusively features verified listings, catering to individuals seeking flats, apartments, land, and commercial spaces.
Manshir’s model stands in contrast to established names like bProperty, Bikroy, and bti Brokerage by focusing on direct connections between property owners and agents without the middleman.
The platform ensures reliability by conducting thorough due diligence on every listing, banning unreliable entries, such as hotel room shares and duplicate listings.
“We designed Manshir as a secure digital experience for buyers, sellers, and renters, focusing on transparency,” said Shakur Reajat, founder of Manshir.
He added, “In the past, online real estate platforms in Bangladesh were plagued by ineffective listings and a lack of authenticity.
“We wanted to change that by offering nearly a thousand verified properties, primarily in high-demand areas like Gulshan, Banani, Bashundhara, Dhanmondi, and Mirpur, with more properties from Chittagong, Gazipur, Narayanganj, Savar, and Keraniganj steadily joining the platform.”
Manshir operates on a flat-rate subscription model, where property listers pay a set fee to list their properties, instead of the usual commission-based fees. This gives property owners and agents full control over their listings.
Tenants and buyers can sign up easily using their mobile number or email, browse the listings, and directly contact sellers via the platform’s built-in messaging system or by calling them directly. The “Favourites” tab helps users save and compare listings, making decisions faster in a fast-moving market.
With over 100 agents, owners, and developers already on board, Manshir is set to expand rapidly, aiming for tenfold growth as it rolls out across all divisions of Bangladesh. A Bangla-language version of the site is scheduled for launch next month, making the platform even more accessible to local users.
As the country continues to urbanise, Manshir’s innovative and transparent approach to real estate transactions offers a much-needed solution, cutting through the noise and connecting genuine buyers and sellers without hidden costs or frustrating intermediaries.
