All inbound flights to Tehran have been halted indefinitely in the wake of Iranian missile strikes against Israel, local media outlets reported on Sunday.

The civil aviation authority has declared a suspension of all air traffic destined for the capital until further notice.

The directive specifically impacts Khomeini International Airport, one of the two primary aviation hubs serving the city.

According to Mehr news agency, this marks the most recent closure of the airport. The facility had only resumed operations in April after a weeks-long shutdown triggered by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
