TECNO has introduced the SPARK 50 Pro in Bangladesh, positioning the smartphone as a durable mid-range device that combines water and dust resistance, drop protection, fast charging and artificial intelligence-powered features for everyday users. The handset is available in two variants priced at Tk26,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model and Tk30,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version, with VAT applicable.
The company said the smartphone is designed to withstand common day-to-day challenges such as rain, accidental drops, dust exposure and regular wear while offering practical performance, a long-lasting battery and AI-based productivity tools.
One of the handset’s key features is its IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance. According to TECNO, the device can withstand submersion in water up to a depth of six metres. The company also said the phone carries SGS Five-Star Premium Drop Resistance certification and features 360-degree Drop Protection.
The SPARK 50 Pro features a 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is designed to provide smoother scrolling, web browsing, video playback and app switching.
Battery performance is another focus of the device. It is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery and supports 60W Super Charging, enabling users to carry out everyday activities, including calls, video streaming, photography, social media use and light gaming, with reduced charging interruptions.
TECNO said the battery is designed to retain more than 80 per cent of its original capacity after more than 1,900 charging cycles, supporting long-term reliability.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor. While it uses a 4G chipset, the company said it is capable of handling multitasking, video streaming, social media applications and light to moderate gaming.
The device is offered in two memory configurations. The 6GB RAM model supports up to 18GB with extended RAM, while the 8GB RAM version can reach 24GB through the same feature. Both models include 128GB of internal storage.
For photography, the SPARK 50 Pro is equipped with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 FlashSnap main camera, which TECNO said is designed to capture clear images under different lighting conditions. The FlashSnap feature is intended to improve image capture of moving subjects.
The handset also includes an 8MP front camera for selfies, video calls and online meetings.
Audio is supported by dual speakers with DTS Sound, while All-Scenario Noise Cancellation is designed to reduce background noise during voice calls and online communication.
Running Android 16, the smartphone incorporates several TECNO AI features, including One-tap Summarisation, AI FlashMemo, AI Writing, AI WhatsApp Assistant, AI Problem Solving, AI Health Assistant and AI Smart Scheduling.
The company said these AI tools are intended to support study, office work, communication, personal organisation and productivity.
Connectivity features include FreeLink 2.0, which allows communication with nearby supported devices when mobile network coverage is weak, and Touch Transfer with iPhone for file sharing between Android and iOS devices.
TECNO said the SPARK 50 Pro combines durability, fast charging, display performance, AI capabilities and everyday usability in a single device for consumers seeking a smartphone designed for long-term use.
