National Identity Registration (NID) Wing Director General ASM Humayun Kabir has confirmed that BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman will receive his NID card within 7 to 24 hours after completing all required formalities.
Tarique, who returned to the country on Thursday after more than 17 years in exile, is scheduled to visit the Election Commission on Saturday following his tribute at the grave of Sharif Osman Hadi at Dhaka University.
