BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will meet Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus on Thursday.
The Chief Adviser’s Press Wing confirmed that the meeting will be held at the State Guest House Jamuna in the evening.
They are expected to discuss the country’s overall situation and the atmosphere ahead of the upcoming 13th parliamentary election.
Tarique Rahman previously met the Chief Adviser in London in June 2025. The two also exchanged brief words after Tarique’s return and during Khaleda Zia’s funeral.
This will be their first formal meeting since Tarique returned to Dhaka on 25 December 2025.
