Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Administrator Md Abdus Salam conducted a surprise inspection at Nagar Bhaban on Sunday to check whether officials and employees were attending office on time.
During the morning visit, the administrator inspected different departments and sections of the DSCC headquarters and checked staff attendance. He instructed officials and employees to follow scheduled working hours and maintain uninterrupted citizen services.
“Dhaka South City Corporation is a service-oriented organisation. There is no alternative to responsibility, punctuality and dedication from officials and employees to provide the expected services to city residents. Everyone must attend office on time and perform their duties sincerely,” Abdus Salam said.
He said regular attendance and performance of officials and employees would be monitored strictly, and negligence, delays or laxity in providing citizen services would not be tolerated.
During the inspection, the administrator gave necessary instructions to departmental heads and urged them to make official activities more efficient, transparent and citizen-friendly.
