The acclaimed Turkish historical drama Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi is set to premiere in Bangladesh on two platforms at once, making it available on both television and streaming from 2 August.
The series will air on Nagarik TV and stream on Bongo, offering viewers greater access to the epic historical production.
Unlike dramas centred on palace intrigue or romance, Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi tells the story of one of the Muslim world’s most celebrated leaders.
The series chronicles Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi’s campaign to liberate Jerusalem from the Crusaders while highlighting his efforts to unite the Muslim world, establish justice and lead decisive military campaigns.
On Nagarik TV, the series will be broadcast Sunday to Thursday at 8pm and 10pm, while new episodes will be available on Bongo at 9pm.
Weekly episodes will also be compiled into a Mega Grand Episode, airing on Fridays and Saturdays at 10pm.
The Turkish production has earned widespread acclaim for its grand-scale sets, cinematic visuals, intense battle sequences and compelling performances.
