A Forest Department team rescued four honey collectors (mowals) while four others remain missing after their boat capsized during a storm in the Satkhira range of the Sundarbans.
Burigoalini Forest Station Officer Fazlul Haque confirmed the matter on Thursday night. He said they entered the Sundarbans to collect honey on 1 April with valid permits from the Burigoalini Forest Station.
They were caught in a storm on Monday night. Four of them were rescued and brought back at night, but four others remain missing. He added that the Shyamnagar Police Station, Coast Guard, and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been notified of the situation.
