Soudia Coach Service has joined the e-ticketing platform bdtickets, allowing passengers to purchase tickets online without queueing at counters.
The development was announced in a press release.
The operator runs services on key intercity routes including Cox’s Bazar, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangamati, Bandarban and Benapole.
bdtickets said it does not charge any additional service fee, enabling passengers to buy tickets at the listed price without extra cost.
“We remain committed to customer service,” said bdtickets Head of Campaign Shafayet Shahnoor.
“The inclusion of one of the country’s popular bus operators, Soudia, on our platform was timely,” he said.
“This new addition will support travel during Ramadan and Eid and help reduce time and effort spent on ticket purchases throughout the year,” he added.
Soudia said its AC coaches include a complimentary set menu for long-distance routes, while both AC and non-AC services operate with Mercedes-Benz buses.
Tickets can be purchased through the bdtickets app, while customer support is available seven days a week via hotline 16460, the press release said.
