Shwapno has been recognised as the Winner in the SDG Brand Champion in Sustainable Partnerships and Institutions – Employment for Differently-Abled Individuals category at the 4th SDG Brand Champion Awards.
The award recognises Shwapno’s commitment to creating an inclusive workplace by providing meaningful employment opportunities for differently-abled individuals, reads a press release.
Through this initiative, the company continues to promote equal opportunity, diversity and dignity in the workplace while contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Expressing its gratitude, Shwapno said the recognition reflects the company’s long-term commitment to building a workplace where people are valued based on their skills and potential, regardless of physical ability.

A total of 472 nominations were submitted across 19 award categories, aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their relevance to Bangladesh.
The winners were selected through a rigorous multi-stage evaluation process conducted by seven grand jury panels comprising 27 experts from diverse industries.
At the fourth edition of the SDG Brand Champion Awards, 34 initiatives were recognised as Winners, while 25 initiatives received mentions.
In addition to winning the award for Employment of Differently-Abled Individuals, Shwapno also received a mention in the SDG Brand Champion in Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure – Farm-to-Shelf category.
Shwapno said it believes responsible business practices go beyond commercial success.
