Students of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology’s Fashion Design and Technology department showcased five fashion collections at their graduation show in Dhaka on Saturday, presenting four years of academic work, research and technical training to representatives from Bangladesh’s fashion, textile and apparel industries.

The Graduation Fashion Show of the department’s 45th batch was held at the BGMEA Complex Auditorium in Uttara under the theme “True Reflection: Our Journey”, bringing together faculty members, former and current students, fashion professionals, entrepreneurs, employers and other guests, the university said in a press release.

The runway presentation featured contemporary garments and designs developed by the graduating students from knowledge, research, creativity and technical skills gained during their four-year academic journey.

The students presented final designs, fashion collections and portfolios, with the programme highlighting their transition from academic learning to professional and creative practice.

The five collections were Legacy in Motion, Heritage in Harmony, Essence of Radiance, Street Symphony and Eternal Elegance.
