Singer, composer and music director Shan Shaik is set to perform at two consecutive musical events in Dhaka this weekend, offering audiences a celebration of monsoon melodies and the launch of his latest album.
The first event will take place on Friday, 31 July, at 5pm at At the Table in Moghbazar, where Shan will unveil his monsoon-themed album Badla Smriti.
In addition to the album launch, he will perform several songs live for the audience.
The following day, on 1 August, Shan will present Shan Shaik Unplugged: Monsoon Melodies, a live acoustic concert scheduled from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
Speaking about the event, Shan said he wanted to create a memorable evening inspired by the rainy season.
“It is the monsoon, and I want to spend a beautiful evening with everyone through music. I hope we can enjoy a rain-soaked evening filled with songs, stories and emotions. I look forward to meeting everyone for this special gathering,” he said.
The concert will be held at Koa, located on Road 11 in Banani, with tickets priced at Tk800.

Meanwhile, a birthday tribute song dedicated to legendary Bangladeshi actress Babita has recently been released on The Best TwentyFour YouTube channel.
Titled Our Dream Girl, the song features music composed by Shan Sayek, with lyrics by journalist Omar Faruk.
Conceived and produced by Ovi Moinuddin, the track is performed by Shan Sayek alongside Rashed, Shapla, Raisa, Joy and Tanzin Mithila.
