Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC has recommended a 13 per cent cash dividend for 2025 after its earnings per share (EPS) jumped 118 per cent year on year, reflecting a sharp improvement in performance.
The bank reported consolidated EPS of Tk3.31 for the year ended December 31, 2025, up from Tk1.52 in 2024, according to a corporate disclosure.
Consolidated net asset value per share rose to Tk23.07 from Tk21.09, while consolidated net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) increased to Tk12.28 from Tk8.03.
Higher net investment income, income from investments in shares and securities, and other operating income drove the rise in earnings, the bank said.
The increase in NOCFPS was mainly due to higher investment income and increased placement from other banks and financial institutions.
The bank will hold its annual general meeting on 24 May 2026 through digital platform.
