Shafiqur Rahman has taken oath as the ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami for the third consecutive term. He was sworn in on Friday at a programme held at the Al Falah auditorium in the capital’s Moghbazar.
The party’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum administered the oath. Central and Dhaka metropolitan leaders of the party were also present at the ceremony.
