BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that a secret alliance between Jamaat and the US has been formed.
He made the remark during an election public outreach event at Jathibhanga in Shukanpukuri Union of Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila on Saturday afternoon.
“This alliance is not good for Bangladesh. This alliance is harmful to the country’s sovereignty,” the BNP leader said.
Mirza Fakhrul said, “I have come to ask for votes for the Paddy Sheaf. We believe in work. We will give you Family Cards. The card will be a weapon for mothers and sisters. It can be used to get rice and lentils. Health and education services can be obtained. Fertiliser and pesticides will be available at fair prices through the Agriculture Card. If we come to power, employment will be created for 1 crore people. More opportunities and benefits will be provided to women.”
At this time, Sadar Upazila BNP President Abdul Hamid along with leaders, activists, and supporters were present.
