Abdullah Jafar H bin Abiyyah, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Dhaka, has paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
The meeting took place at the Cabinet Division in the Secretariat at 11am on Sunday.
During the meeting, Ambassador Abdullah Jafar conveyed greetings to the newly elected prime minister on behalf of the Saudi royal family and government.
He also discussed ensuring maximum facilities for pilgrims ahead of the Hajj season, along with various bilateral issues of mutual interest between the two countries.
Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman and Prime Minister’s Adviser Humayun Kabir were also present at the meeting.
